About Friends of Carthay Center

Friends of Carthay Center (FCC) is a non-profit booster club made up of motivated and enthusiastic school parents and community members working to identify, support, and promote initiatives that will enable Carthay Center School to offer superior educational opportunities.

FCC is an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Our goals are to:

  • Enhance and broaden parent and community awareness of Carthay Center School as the educational anchor of our community.
  • Execute fundraising campaigns to strengthen the school's enrichment programs and meet all equipment needs.
  • Strengthen and support the Volunteer / School Assistance Programs.
  • Support PTA programs and activities.

Join the Excitement!

More than 700 new families, community & business supporters and volunteers have joined together with Friends of Carthay Center to energize our involvement in and support of Carthay Center.

Citywide and nationwide there is a growing trend to enhance local support for public education. Driven by a common desire for community, a quality alternative to the high cost of a private education, and an awareness that a well-regarded school positively impacts home values, residents are getting involved with the public school.

Carthay Center School offers us a great opportunity to build upon community both within and outside the school.
